Job summary

MarcDaniels is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for an on-site role near Swords, Ireland. You will handle high-volume AP processing, liaise with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure accurate data entry and timely invoice processing. A car is required for commuting to the new offices.

The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and ideally experience in freight, logistics, or manufacturing environments. On-site, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume accounts payable processing.
• Confidently liaise with internal and external contacts to resolve queries.
• Strong data entry and accuracy in processing invoices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring correct allocation to cost accruals.
• Verify invoices are correctly matched to jobs identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any invoice-related issues or discrepancies.
• Record direct cost invoices in SAP, ensuring proper classification and allocation across departments, projects, or cost centers.
• Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner to meet deadlines and maintain vendor relationships.

Job description

Due to a recent restructure we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to start ASAP, and join a cracking finance team, based out of fantastic new offices, circa 20 mins outside of Swords, (Dublin)

You will require a car to get to these offices, and free parking is available.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 17.30, 5 days on site.

The role –

• You will be the main point of contact both internally and externally and as such it is essential that you are confident in handling queries and liaising with people at all levels on a professional basis.
• Support the team to get on top of a backlog of supplier invoices.
• Inputting data accurately and quickly.
• Checking invoices against job numbers and movement numbers.

You will need:

• Previous experience in high volume accounts payable processing.
• An Inquisitive mind set – don’t be afraid to ask the questions.
• Good attention to details.
• A good sense of humour
• Ideally previous experience in freight, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• A car.
• To be based near Swords, Ireland.
