Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking an Accounting Advisory Senior Associate or Manager to lead client accounting engagements, manage teams, and contribute to the growth of the advisory practice. You will develop services, mentor junior staff, and maintain strong client relationships across a range of accounting matters.

A snapshot of your peer group:

• Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, or international equivalent) with 1+ year(s) PQE
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, preferably obtained in a “Big 4/Top 10” environment
• Proven project management skills, with experience in leading teams and delivering services to clients
• Problem solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations
• Strong technical experience, with a track record of combining accounting analysis with commercial business advice
• Experience in accounting standards including IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP
• Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral

• Management of client accounting-related engagements, and leading teams. In some instances, leading Accounting Advisory input into larger, multi-disciplinary teams
• Take an active role in supporting the management of the accounting advisory practice, including developing new services for clients
• Be involved in the development of more junior staff, including providing training and acting as a coach and mentor to team members
• Deliver compelling engagement proposals which result in winning engagements
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and team members
• Actively contribute to the Accounting Advisory strategy, team management and other non-delivery aspects of the role

Accounting Advisory is one of KPMG’s fastest growing departments.
