Job summary

KPMG Ireland invites applications for a Senior Associate/Manager, Valuations Specialist, based in Dublin with hybrid working. The role focuses on delivering valuation engagements across corporate finance, tax, and strategic projects, and requires strong modelling and client communication.

You will join the Valuations team of 12 within Corporate Finance, collaborating with Deal Advisory to provide independent valuation advice and drive business outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent)
• 3–5 years relevant experience in valuation, corporate finance, transaction services, audit or related financial advisory role
• Previous valuation experience would be very favourable
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; ability to interpret complex financial information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of valuation engagements across a broad range of purposes, including transaction support, financial reporting, tax, restructuring and strategic decision‑making
• Preparing and reviewing detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions analyses and option pricing models
• Undertaking financial analysis, market research and sector‑specific assessments to support valuation conclusions
• Drafting high‑quality valuation reports and client deliverables in line with professional standards
• Working closely with senior team members to manage engagements, meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients
• Collaborating with colleagues across Corporate Finance, Deal Advisory, Audit and Tax to deliver integrated solutions
• Building strong internal and external relationships, contributing to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team

A snapshot of your peer group:

• Professionally qualified or working towards a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent
