Project Sales Manager, K&B Indonesia
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, lead, and maintain Kohler business primarily with Top 10 Developers and second-tier developers through direct engagement.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with distributors in the assigned area to introduce and promote Kohler Indonesia's products in alignment with company, branch, marketing goals, and policies.
- Provide guidance and review the activities of distributor sales teams; offer training and assist in resolving specific questions or technical issues related to selling efforts.
- Establish and maintain contact with potential and existing design architects and developers to increase awareness of Kohler's products and encourage their use in designs.
- Maintain regular contact with contractors, general contractors, builders, architects, plumbers, and engineers to inform them of the advantages of Kohler products for their clients.
- Analyze and evaluate sales trends, market potentials, competition, economic conditions, and distributor performance in the assigned area; recommend adjustments to sales programs and distributorships to enhance effectiveness in meeting sales quotas.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts based on market knowledge, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct distributor warehouse and on-site consumer inspections as needed; address product quality, installation, or performance complaints.
- Ensure smooth project handovers to distributors and monitor on-time delivery and contract completion.
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and relationships with distributors and clients.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation related to sales activities, expenses, and claims.
- Share market intelligence and knowledge with managers and colleagues.
INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
- Supervisory: Report directly to the Head of Project Sales, K&B Indonesia.
- Coordination with Supply Chain Management, Finance, Technical Services, Marketing, and Retail Sales teams.
Skills/Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & PERSONALITY TRAITS
- University degree in marketing, interior design, architecture, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, especially in project sales, with demonstrated performance across various situations.
- Strong network and proven success working with property developers, especially Top 10 and second-tier developers.
- Relationships with architects, consultants, and interior design firms.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet high targets.
- Target-oriented, aggressive sales approach, capable of direct customer engagement or working through distributors.
- Independent work capability with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence.
- Good team player with collaboration skills across departments.
- Experience in the bath and kitchen industry is preferred.
- Proficient in English communication skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; willing to travel frequently.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or Power BI is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
