PT. SP Manufacturing is seeking 6 person of Senior Engineer/Executive for Wire Harness to join our engineering new team. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Kota Riau Islands. As a Wire Harness Senior Engineer/Executive, you will play a critical leadership role within our electrical engineering division, overseeing the design, development, and manufacturing of wire harness systems. This position is essential to our continued success in delivering high-quality electrical components and will involve both technical expertise and strategic oversight of complex projects and team operations.
- Experience Minimum 4 Year for Senior Engineer, Minimum 6 years for Executive Engineer)
- Understanding of GD&T, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), tolerance stack-up, and risk analyses like DFMEA
- Strong grasp of current capacity, voltage drops, grounding, EMI shielding, and signal types
- Proficiency in tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD Electrical, or E3 for creating 2D bundle drawings and 3D layout routings
- Familiar with compliance frameworks such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 for assembly workmanship
- Knowledge of sector-specific standards like IATF 16949 (automotive) or ISO 13485 (medical devices)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring design accuracy
- Ability to work with procurement, quality control, and production teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) and prototyping
- Ability to generate and interpret wiring diagrams, schematic designs, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and wire lists
- Strong verbal and written skills (English Communication) for customer technical reviews
