Job summary

PT. UNIT BUILD INDUSTRIES is seeking a kitchen staff to prepare dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our Bali facility.

The role involves sauce and dressing preparation, vegetable prep, and daily ordering of food materials, while ensuring proper storage, receiving procedures, and cleanliness of kitchen areas. Candidates should have 1–2 years of cooking experience, knowledge of Western cuisine, food safety, and the ability to work in shifts in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Min SMK qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Tourism or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as Cook, Commis Cook, or Kitchen Staff.
• Understanding of food preparation, sauce and dressing, vegetable preparation, and basic cooking techniques.
• Experience preparing western cuisine.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, FIFO and FEFO.
• Understanding of food material receiving and storage processes.
• Able to maintain kitchen area and equipment cleanliness.
• Able to work in a team, shift work, and high-pressure environment.
• Willing to be placed in Tabanan, Bali region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Prepare sauces and dressings according to menu requirements
• Perform vegetable preparation and cutting according to established standards
• Create and submit daily food material requirement orders
• Receive and inspect fruits and vegetables upon arrival
• Store and manage food materials according to the applicable storage system
• Maintain cleanliness, condition, and functionality of kitchen equipment and areas
