Job summary

Unilever in Indonesia seeks a hands-on warehouse operations leader to oversee 3PL providers and drive continuous improvement. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading and dispatch with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Your role requires strong analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication across multicultural teams, as you ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards at Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading, dispatch).
• Monitor 3PL performance against SLA/KPI including productivity, accuracy, and space utilization.
• Ensure SOPs, safety, quality, 5S, and regulatory standards are followed by 3PLs.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, stock receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, and cycle counts.
• Ensure accuracy of SAP/WMS transactions and alignment with physical stock.
• Lead investigations into incidents and deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Customer Service and transporters to resolve issues.

Job description

We're looking for a hands-on and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, excels at managing 3PL operations, and drives continuous improvement through strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor 3PL operational performance against agreed SLA/KPI, including warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, loading/unloading performance, space utilization, and service level.
• Ensure 3PL operations comply with company SOPs, safety standards, quality requirements, 5S, security requirements, and applicable legal/regulatory standard.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper execution of stock receiving, put-away, picking, transfer, dispatch, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of warehouse transactions in SAP/WMS and alignment between physical stock and system inventory.
• Lead investigation and resolution of incidents involving product damage, loss, inventory discrepancies, delivery delays, safety incidents, and other operational deviations.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Customer Service, Transporters, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure end-to-end service delivery

Requirements

• Minimum associate degree (D3) with all major.
• Have experience > 4 years in managing warehouse, preferrable if have experience work with and managing 3PL warehouse provider
• A proactive individual with strong agility and proven ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
• Strong analytics skills and logical thinking
• Solid communication and presentation skills, including experience with communicating with others from different cultures.
• Good in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Eager to step outside of the comfort zone to Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
