Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a TSFP Warehouse Officer (Goljano woreda). The role focuses on proper warehouse management, receiving food commodities, updating documents, and mobilizing supplies to intervention woreda mini warehouses. You will coordinate with transporters to ensure timely dispatch and maintain accurate records.

The position requires experience in nutrition/health programming, NGO work, and ability to work in remote or insecure environments within Ethiopia.

Qualifications

• Good written and spoken ability of the local language.
• Extremely flexible, able to work independently, and cope with stressful situations.
• Experience with international NGO work, ideally in Somali region.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the commodity officer for proper warehouse management and safety.
• Receive food commodities and update warehouse documents with FIFO and inventory checks.
• Mobilize commodities from main to mini warehouses and coordinate with transporters.
• Update ledger and stock cards after each transaction and reconcile with source documents.
• Ensure mini-stores are clean, properly stacked, and secured with proper reporting.
