BYD Company Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, manage a warehouse team, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and production to meet on-time order fulfillment.
The role requires 1.5+ years of warehouse experience, strong knowledge of processes, and proficiency with SAP or similar WMS/ERP systems. Fluency in English is needed; Chinese is a plus.
Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, processing, and shipping of goods.
Manage the warehouse team including shift scheduling, task allocation, performance reviews, and coaching.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety (K3) procedures, quality policies, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and production teams to support stock availability and on-time order fulfillment.
Oversee incoming goods receiving, quality/quantity checks, accurate documentation, and correct placement in storage locations.
Supervise picking, packing, and shipping activities, including preparation of related documents (e.g., packing lists and delivery orders).
Monitor inventory regularly, perform stock reconciliation, and drive corrective actions for discrepancies.
Control warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure tools are available and in safe working condition (forklift, pallet jack, shelving).
Prepare and report warehouse operational KPIs (inventory accuracy, lead time, order fulfillment) and propose process improvements.
Handle operational escalations and support service improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree.
At least 1.5 years of warehouse (WHS) experience in operational roles.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operational processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for warehouse operations and inventory management.
Safety awareness and ability to enforce safety procedures; competence in manpower control and workforce coordination.
Training skills to onboard, coach, and upskill warehouse team members.
Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
