Job summary

PT Kaivalya is seeking enthusiastic and professional Wait Staff to join our hospitality team in Ubud, Bali. This full-time role offers the chance to deliver exceptional service and create memorable dining experiences through attentive service and guest-focused hospitality.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff while upholding health and safety standards. Fluency in English and Indonesian is highly desirable.

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders whilst providing recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring plates and glasses are presented according to service standards
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to answer guest questions and make informed suggestions
• Checking in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or additional requests
• Processing payments and managing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between services whilst maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
• Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues during busy service periods

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as wait staff or in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or similar dining establishment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple tables and orders simultaneously
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move efficiently throughout the service area
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to consistent attendance
• Ability to remain calm and composed during peak service times
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
• Fluency in English and Indonesian is highly desirable; additional language skills are advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt to PT Kaivalya’s service standards and procedures
