About the role AWERA RESORT is seeking an experienced Villa Manager to join our management team in the stunning Kepulauan Mentawai, Sumatera Barat. This is a full-time position based on-site at our resort property. As Villa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our villa accommodations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service and property management. This role is pivotal to the success of our resort operations and directly impacts guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Oversee daily operations of all villa units, including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
Manage villa inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring everything is properly maintained and stocked
Supervise and train villa staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and service personnel
Ensure all villas meet and exceed cleanliness and maintenance standards before guest arrivals
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns regarding villa accommodations
Conduct regular inspections of villa facilities and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed
Manage villa maintenance schedules, preventative care programmes, and vendor relationships
Liaise with the front desk and guest services teams to communicate guest preferences and special requirements
Monitor and report on villa occupancy, maintenance costs, and operational metrics
Implement health, safety, and environmental standards across all villa facilities
Develop and manage budgets related to villa operations and housekeeping expenses
What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in villa or accommodation management within a hospitality setting
Proven track record of managing housekeeping and maintenance teams effectively
Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, guest service standards, and property maintenance procedures
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate staff
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges
Proficiency in property management systems and hospitality software (preferred)
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to hospitality operations
Fluency in English; additional languages (particularly Indonesian) are advantageous
Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
Experience in a resort or island-based property setting is highly desirable
