Job summary

PT Limin Marine & Offshore is hiring a Vessel Document Officer to oversee ship documentation, SPB processes, and certificate compliance in Jakarta. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in shipping administration or document control.

You will handle bureaucratic procedures with maritime authorities and manage digital and physical documentation tracking.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Law, Business Admin, or Commercial Shipping Management (KPN).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping administration, operational legal matters, or document control.
• Understanding of bureaucratic procedures within maritime agencies (Harbormaster, KSOP, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, classification societies).
• Knowledge of mandatory ship certificates such as Safe Working Certificates (DOC, SMC, ISPS) and related items, and their validity periods.

We are hiring Vessel Document Officer with qualifications below :

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Commercial Shipping Management (KPN), or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping administration, operational legal matters, or document control.

Understanding of bureaucratic procedures within maritime agencies (the Harbormaster and Port Authority/ KSOP, the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and classification societies).

Understanding the types and validity periods of mandatory ship certificates such as Safety Construction, Safety Equipment, Safety Radio, Load Line, IOPP, SMC, ISPS, and Document of Compliance (DOC).

Proficient in managing the Port Clearance (SPB) process, agency doc, entry permits.

Experienced in managing document tracking systems (both digital and physical).
