PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk seeks a seasoned Master/Deck Officer to oversee daily vessel operations, safety, and crew readiness across offshore oil and gas projects. The role requires a minimum ANT I/II diploma, at least five years in senior deck positions, and strong communication with shore teams.
The candidate will ensure accurate reporting, vessel movement coordination, and safe manning, while maintaining compliance with ISM/ISPS and company procedures.
Min. Diploma in Nautical Science/Deck Department (ANT I/II)
Experience as Master on offshore Oil & Gas project vessels
Minimum 5 years experience as Deck Officer/Senior Officer/Master/Chief Officer, or as Port Captain/Offshore Vessel Operation
Knowledgeable in ISM/ISPS awareness, passage planning, marine safety, OVID/IMCA/SIRE awareness, crew management, PTW/JSA/RA awareness, and accident/incident reporting
Experienced in daily operations, ship-shore communication, vessel movement, port operations, deck safety, fuel sounding, logistics, and crew readiness
Strong communicator, disciplined, responsive, problem-solver, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure
Good Indonesian; operational (minimum passive) English
Proficient in MS Office, reporting tools, CMMS/mobile apps, and shared drives
Ensure Masters submit daily reports, vessel position, activities, weather/passage updates, soundings, crew status, and critical information on time and in the correct format
Monitor vessel movement, port readiness, clearance, BPI/NTM, passage/weather information, and agent/terminal coordination
Support crew change, safe manning, appraisals, briefings for Master/Officer/crew, familiarization, and PKL/Addendum processes with Crewing and Marine Superintendent
Quickly communicate vessel issues to relevant parties: Marine Superintendent, Technical Superintendent, Port Engineer, HSE/DPA, Procurement/Warehouse, Crewing, Finance/Admin, or Offshore Manager
Ensure vessel defects have baseline data (RCA, equipment, location, symptoms, photos/video, operational impact, initial requirements, urgency) before escalation to owner
Collect close-out evidence from vessels after work completion, including photos, reports, delivery receipts, job completion, and toolbox/JSA/PTW evidence
Coordinate logistics delivery from warehouse/procurement to vessels and ensure delivered items match the request with proper vessel receipt
Control daily fuel data (running hours, sounding, consumption, abnormal usage, bunker/delivery notes) and elevate potential illegal fuel or oil spill risks
Support vessel inspection readiness in terms of reports, crew briefings, document availability, deck housekeeping, and LSA/FFE visibility
Ensure crew understand operational instructions and the SMK Manual through toolbox talks or coordination with Marine Superintendent/HSE/DPA
May act as temporary Master/Officer when needed and approved by Management, subject to applicable requirements
