Job summary

Sandvik Group in the Papua Province, Indonesia, seeks qualified Technical Advisors to support underground drills and bolters, drive fleet reliability, and uphold a zero-harm safety culture.

Candidates should have seven years in underground mining with Sandvik equipment, strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulics skills, plus solid customer service. You will mentor local staff and work with management to implement training and digital improvements.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or hydraulics.
• Seven years’ experience maintaining Sandvik underground drill and bolting equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on Sandvik underground drills and bolters to sustain fleet reliability.
• Organize and feedback on reliability issues or concerns for the fleet.
• Assist Service Personnel with technical issues and spare parts concerns.
• Mentor and upskill local workforce in best-practice service and maintenance with safety focus.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Technical Support Manager on EHS initiatives and training needs.
• Lead adoption of new technology and improve processes via digitalization.
