Happy Trails! Asia, a DMC operating across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, seeks a Freelancer Reservation Officer to manage daily reservations and ensure bookings are recorded and confirmed on time.

The role emphasizes accuracy, English communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include updating reservations, handling modifications/cancellations, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining clear email filing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Inbound Tour Operator or related fields.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
• Tech savvy with high understanding of computer programs (Ms Office, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservation information.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work solo or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all accommodation reservations are accurately entered and updated in the internal reservation system.
• Handle all reservation-related tasks, including modifications and cancellations, following company policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the bookings, maintaining high service standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely confirmations, availability, and special requests.
• Maintain a clear filing system for emails related to bookings, suppliers, and internal communications.
• Assist with specific tasks or projects as assigned by the HOD/Management, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain good relations and effective communications with tour operators, customers, and suppliers.
