Ideal candidates hold a degree in Business, Transportation, or Logistics, with over 10 years of experience in logistics, import-export, and customs affairs, and strong coordination, communication, and proficiency in MS

• 10+ years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, import-export, and customs affairs.
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of customs and import-export procedures.
• Solid exposure to international supply chain and transportation concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee logistics, customs, and transportation activities across business operations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics vendors, and internal departments to manage inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.
• Coordinate equipment receiving, inspection, and inland transportation to project sites — ensuring on-time, in-good-condition, on-budget delivery.
• Review and process logistics-related payment operations.
• Prepare and maintain all transportation documentation for import/export customs clearance.
• Handle customs-related equipment affairs, including Duty & VAT exemption applications.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations for offshore import/export transactions.
• Monitor daily import/export customs declaration operations.
• Maintain relationships with Customs and government authorities; support internal/external customs compliance audits.
• Implement and support company management systems (SMK3, ISO 9001, ISO 1401, FSSC 22000) in daily operations.

About the role

PT Lami Packaging Indonesia is seeking a Transportation & Customs Manager to join our dynamic logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Cikande, Banten, where you will oversee all aspects of transportation operations and customs compliance for our import and export activities. As Transportation & Customs Manager, you will play a crucial strategic role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods whilst maintaining full regulatory compliance. This position is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve customers efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee logistics, customs, and transportation activities across business operations (BP & OP)

Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics vendors, and internal departments to manage inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods

Coordinate equipment receiving, inspection, and inland transportation to project sites — ensuring on-time, in-good-condition, on-budget delivery

Review and process logistics-related payment operations

Prepare and maintain all transportation documentation for import/export customs clearance

Handle customs-related equipment affairs, including Duty & VAT exemption applications

Ensure compliance with customs regulations for offshore import/export transactions

Monitor daily import/export customs declaration operations

Maintain relationships with Customs and government authorities; support internal/external customs compliance audits

Implement and support company management systems (SMK3, ISO 9001, ISO 1401, FSSC 22000) in daily operations, including reporting unsafe acts/conditions and non-conformities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, or Logistics

10+ years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, import-export, and customs affairs

Strong, up-to-date knowledge of customs and import-export procedures

Solid exposure to international supply chain and transportation concepts

Proficient in MS Office and logistics/inventory systems

Strong written and verbal communication — able to engage government agencies, vendors, and senior management

Good coordination and organizational skills

Willing to relocate at Cikande - Banten
