Job summary

PT. Sinotrans Logistik Indonesia is seeking a driven Project Logistics Staff (Project Cargo) to support complex import operations for break bulk, oversized, and heavy-lift cargo in South Jakarta.

You will manage end-to-end activities from port to project site and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. The role requires familiarity with Indonesian customs regulations, HS codes, and willingness to travel for site surveys and port operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL operations.

About The Role

PT. Sinotrans Logistik Indonesia is seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Logistics Staff (Project Cargo) to join our dynamic team in South Jakarta. In this role, you will be at the forefront of handling complex import operations for break bulk, oversized, overweight (ODOW), and heavy-lift project materials. Key Responsibilities

• Document& Regulatory Compliance: Determine accurate import documentation, including HS Code classification, and review import requirements (experience in drafting Goods Import Notification is preferred).
• Port Operations: Handle end-to-end import and export operations directly at the port.
• Customs Management: Manage and coordinate customs inspection processes, ensuring full compliance and smooth clearance.
• Site Escort & Execution: Escort heavy-lift and project materials safely from port to the final project site.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain seamless communication with vendors, customers, and internal Sinotrans Indonesia teams regarding shipment progress and milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL operations, specifically handling break bulk or heavy-lift cargoes.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, HS Codes, and import licensing/documentation procedures (Goods Import Notification experience is a distinct advantage).
• Valid Driver's Licenses: Must possess both Class A (SIM A) and Class C (SIM C) driver's licenses.
• Willingness to travel frequently on business trips for site surveys, cargo escorting, and port operations.
• Open to working under an outsourcing employment status via our official vendor partner collaborating with PT. Sinotrans Logistik Indonesia.
• Based in or willing to commute to South Jakarta.
• Proficiency in English is required; the ability to communicate in Mandarin will be considered a strong plus.
