Job summary

Hero Retail Nusantara is seeking a seasoned Training & Development leader to design and execute a comprehensive program across multiple locations in Indonesia. You will build scalable learning architectures, establish competency frameworks, and drive service excellence through structured training.

The role requires 4+ years in T&D, with retail/FMCG exposure, strong facilitation and stakeholder skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HRM, Business Administration, Education or related field.
• 4+ years in Training & Development, with 1–2 years in strategic/leadership roles.
• Experience in retail/FMCG or multi-branch operations is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in building training systems and managing a training function.
• Curriculum design, training module development, and program implementation expertise.
• Strong understanding of competency-based development and adult learning principles.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset to translate training into measurable business impact.
• Agile, hands-on, able to work in a fast-paced, multi-location organization.
• Energetic, proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel across regions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Training & Development strategy aligned with business objectives and organizational growth.
• Establish structured training systems, competency frameworks, SOPs, and scalable learning architectures across all locations.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and design end-to-end learning journeys (onboarding, technical, service excellence, and leadership programs).
• Build and embed a strong service excellence culture through training, behavioral standards, and operational integration.
• Design and implement leadership development and succession programs for supervisory and managerial levels.
• Deliver impactful training sessions and develop internal trainers through Train-the-Trainer initiatives.
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training initiatives drive capability building and measurable business outcomes.
