The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating Karofi's offline marketing activation activities across retail stores, malls, exhibitions, roadshows, and special events. This role ensures every offline activation is aligned with brand strategy, trade marketing objectives, promotional mechanics, visual merchandising standards, and sales or lead generation targets.
1. Offline Activation Management (40%)
- Develop and manage the monthly offline activation calendar for malls, retail stores, exhibitions, roadshows, community activities, and seasonal campaigns.
- Prepare activation briefs including objective, logistics, timeline, setup checklist, and success indicators.
- Coordinate with mall management, event organizers, retail stores, and internal teams for permits, booth placement, electricity, storage, installation, dismantling, and operational needs.
- Supervise on-site execution, briefing, opening and closing checks, troubleshooting, crowd-pulling activities, product demonstrations, and customer engagement flow.
- Ensure all promotions, claims, visual assets, and customer communication follow approved company guidelines.
2. Co-Branding with another business (25%)
- Identify and approach potential business partners for co-branding opportunities, including retail stores, communities, property developers, wellness businesses, family lifestyle brands, and other relevant partners that align with Karofi's target market.
- Develop co-branding activation concepts that can increase brand awareness, customer engagement, qualified leads, and product trial opportunities.
- Coordinate with external business partners regarding activation mechanics, branding placement, promotional materials, booth setup, customer journey, and lead collection flow.
- Ensure all co-branding activities follow Karofi's brand guidelines, product positioning, promotional policy, and approval process.
- Monitor the performance of each co-branding activity, including number of visitors, leads generated, customer interest, sales potential, and partner feedback.
- Prepare post-activation reports with key insights, documentation, evaluation, and recommendations for future co-branding opportunities.
- Compling Data of Leads from Sales, including visitor traffic, challenge/free trial registrations, booking requests, and sell-out contribution.
- Send daily activation recap during event periods and prepare post-event reports covering performance, insight, issue, documentation, and recommendation.
- Analyze activation effectiveness based on visitor quality, lead conversion, promo response, customer feedback, and sell-out impact.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination & Brand Compliance (10%)
- Develop any idea to make the process better or open new channel
V. Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, Event, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Marcomm, Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing, Field Marketing, Event Activation, Mall Exhibition, or related roles.
- Experience in consumer electronics, home appliance, water purifier, or retail is an advantage.
- Willing to visit retail stores, malls, exhibitions, and activation locations across Jabodetabek.
- Willing to support after-hours and weekend activation when required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Microsoft Form or CRM, presentation tools, and basic design tools such as Canva or PowerPoint.
- Able to brief, supervise, and evaluate BA, promoters, and event manpower.
- Good command of conversational English.
