Job summary

Travelingeropa group in Tangerang, Banten is seeking an experienced Tour Travel Operations Manager to lead and optimise our tour and travel operations. This full-time role requires steering end-to-end tour execution, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring outstanding service quality.

You will oversee itinerary planning, vendor relationships, and cost control while guiding Operations, Ticketing, Visa, PIC, and Customer Service teams to meet deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in tour operations or travel management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tour packages and complex itineraries.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

About the role

Travelingeropa group is seeking an experienced Tour Travel Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to take a strategic leadership role in managing and optimising our tour and travel operations. As Tour Travel Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our business, overseeing the seamless execution of tour packages, coordinating with suppliers, managing logistics, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. This role is crucial to our company's success, as you will be responsible for streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and maintaining the high standards that define the Travelingeropa group brand.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of tour operations, including itinerary planning, scheduling, and coordination of travel logistics
• Manage relationships with tour operators, hotels, transportation providers, and other key suppliers to ensure quality service delivery
• Monitor and optimise operational costs whilst maintaining service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement operational procedures, systems, and policies to improve efficiency and consistency across all tour products
• Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure tour packages meet customer expectations and are delivered on time
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring resolution in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including booking confirmations, invoices, and operational reports
• Train, supervise, and support operations staff to ensure they meet performance standards and company values
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation
• Conduct regular audits of tour operations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry
• Lead and manage end-to-end travel operations, overseeing the Operations, Ticketing, Visa, PIC, and Customer Service teams. Delegate tasks effectively, coordinate between functions, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery to customers.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tour operations, travel management, or a similar operational role within the hospitality and tourism industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple tour packages and complex travel itineraries
• Strong knowledge of tour operation systems, booking platforms, and travel management software
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, staff, and clients
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with travel booking systems (advantageous)
• Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional language skills are beneficial
• A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong financial acumen with experience in cost management and budgeting
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with a track record of delegating tasks and keeping the team aligned to deadlines
