Job summary

PT Summit Adyawinsa Indonesia in Karawang Barat seeks a Tooling Designer for CF design in 2D/3D and die layout concepts. You will drive tooling development from design to mass production and manage revisions with suppliers.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of stamping tooling experience, with strong CAD skills (UG NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in stamping tooling design.
• Experience in CF tooling and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Make CF designs in 2D and 3D per requirements and schedule.
• Create a die layout concept and process plan.
• Provide revisions of dies/jigs from suppliers.
• Suggest tooling improvements and optimizations.
• Complete CF documentation for handover to Production Engineering.
• Control technical documents (part drawings, ECN, ECR).

Job description

Candidates must possess at least Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or equivalent

Preferable for professional or at least 3 years of working experience in; Stamping Industries of Tooling Designer, especially for CF

(Skills) Cad software skill: Ug nx / solidworks & autocad

Familiar with all production process, from Design, Trial until Mass Production

Willing to work in Karawang Barat and join as soon as possible

Job Description:

• Making CF designs in 2D and 3D in accordance with requirements and on schedule;
• Create a design concept/die layout and process plan;
• Provide a revision of the detailed component dies/jig made by the supplier/subcontractor;
• Improvement proposals related tooling;
• Complete the CF document when handing over to the Production Engineering team
• Controlling technical documents such as part drawings, ECN, ECR etc

PT Summit Adyawinsa Indonesia was established in Karawang, on 14th April 2014 as Joint Venture Company between Summit Auto Body Co., Ltd. ( Thailand ) and PT Adyawinsa Dinamika ( Indonesia ).

Summit Auto Body Industry Co., Ltd. ( SAB ) was established in 1986 to serve primarily customers dealing in auto body parts. However, as the company has progressed, it now deals with not only auto body parts but also logistics, golf clubs, hotels and other business. SAB also have several overseas plant such as in : Japan, China, India, Pakistan, and Vietnam. While PT Adyawinsa Dinamika is a well local company under Adyawinsa Group, who is doing their business in Automotive Component.

Our main business line is manufacturing Automobile Components such as body part ( stamping, welding, and machining ). We supplying our product to reputable Automotive Manufacturers such as PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia, PT Honda Prospect Motor, PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor, PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, etc. Gradually, we will apply the technology to produce Exhaust Systems, Chassis Parts, and Fuel Filler Pipe.
