Job summary

PT TSM Technologies in Indonesia seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and Fusion 360, define dimensions, tolerances, materials, and mechanical requirements, and ensure designs are suitable for mass production.

You will support tooling, molds, jigs, fixtures, and work with suppliers, prototypes, pilot builds, and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies, BOMs, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Knowledge of plastic injection, machining, CNC, and 3D printing.
• Knowledge or experience with tooling, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Experience supporting prototype and mass production.
• Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support engineering changes and mechanical design improvements.
• Improve product quality, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to Production and suppliers.
