Wira's Playroom in South Jakarta is seeking a dedicated Therapist Behavioral (ABA/VB) to join our pediatric therapy team in a full-time role. You will deliver evidence-based ABA and VB interventions to children with developmental needs, collaborating with clinicians, families, and educators to support meaningful progress.

Ideal candidates have ABA/VB credentials and 2–3 years of hands-on experience, with strong data-collection skills and a compassionate, patient approach.

Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist Behavioral (ABA/VB) to join the team at Wira's Playroom in South Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering evidence-based behavioural therapy services to children requiring support with developmental and behavioural challenges. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will be instrumental in implementing applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and verbal behaviour (VB) methodologies to help our clients achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact on the lives of children and their families within a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive behavioural assessments and functional behaviour analyses to identify client needs and develop individualised treatment plans
• Implementing applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and verbal behaviour (VB) techniques in accordance with evidence-based practices and clinical protocols
• Delivering direct therapeutic interventions and support sessions with clients, utilising positive reinforcement and other behavioural strategies
• Monitoring and documenting client progress, collecting data on behavioural outcomes and adjusting treatment approaches as needed
• Collaborating with colleagues, supervising clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and consistent care
• Communicating regularly with families and caregivers to provide guidance, support and education on implementing behavioural strategies at home
• Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards
• Contributing to the professional development of junior team members through mentoring and supervision where appropriate
• Staying current with best practices in ABA and VB therapy through ongoing professional development and training

What we're looking for:

• Recognised qualification or certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or Verbal Behaviour (VB), such as Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent recognised credential
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience delivering ABA/VB therapy to children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder or developmental delays
• Strong knowledge of behavioural principles, reinforcement strategies, data collection methods and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to remain patient, empathetic and professional when working with clients presenting complex behavioural challenges
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is highly desirable
• A valid driving licence and reliable transport would be beneficial for this role
