Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking a Junior Technical Writer to create and manage documentation for IT infrastructure, systems, and APIs. You will develop SOPs, HLDs, LLDs, DRPs, and topology guides while ensuring adherence to ITIL and ISO 27001 standards.

You will collaborate with Cloud/Network Engineers, DevOps, and Security teams, manage documentation repositories, and produce operational guides for L1/L2 support teams. Proficiency in Indonesian and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Maximum 3 years experience as a Technical Writer in IT/Telecommunications/Software.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code fundamentals (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD Pipeline.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and ITIL Framework.
• Proficiency with Documentation Tools: Confluence, Notion, MS Office, Google Workspace.
• Proficiency with Diagramming Tools: Draw.io, Lucidchart, Visio.
• Experience with Version Control and API tools: Git/GitHub/GitLab, Postman, Swagger.
• Excellent Indonesian language capability for formal documentation; fluent technical English.

Responsibilities

• Create API integration documentation, server/cloud configuration guides, and release notes for infrastructure system updates.

• Ensure all documentation complies with ITIL framework, ISO 27001 security standards, and internal Telkom Group regulations.
• Manage internal documentation repositories (Confluence, Git, Notion) for accessibility and discoverability.
• Develop operational guides including Troubleshooting Guides and Runbooks for L1/L2 IT Support and field operations teams.

Job description

Technical Writer role at Junior level focused on creating and managing technical documentation for IT infrastructure, systems, and APIs. The position involves developing comprehensive documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), and Network/Architecture Topology, while ensuring compliance with IT service management frameworks and security standards.

Key responsibilities

Develop, update, and manage technical infrastructure documentation including SOP, HLD, LLD, DRP, and Network/Architecture Topology

Create API integration documentation, server/cloud configuration guides, and release notes for infrastructure system updates

Collaborate closely with Cloud/Network Engineers, DevOps, System Administrators, and Security Specialists to gather accurate technical information

About you

S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field

Maximum 3 years experience as a Technical Writer specifically in IT/Telecommunications/Software Engineering

Understanding of Infrastructure as Code fundamentals (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD Pipeline

Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and ITIL Framework

Proficiency with Documentation Tools: Confluence, Notion, MS Office, Google Workspace

Proficiency with Diagramming Tools: Draw.io, Lucidchart, Visio

Experience with Version Control and API tools: Git/GitHub/GitLab, Postman, Swagger

Excellent Indonesian language capability for formal documentation

Fluent technical English (reading and writing)

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into concise and easily understood explanations
