Puratos Indonesia is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support the sales team with expert bakery knowledge. You will prepare and deliver product demonstrations, train customer staff, and craft innovative bakery solutions across multiple territories and customer types.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Marketing and R&D, delivering technical consultations and developing market-aligned recipes while supporting events and product launches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher in Bakery, Food Technology, Culinary Arts or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bakery, patisserie, or food ingredient applications.
• Good understanding of bakery processes, ingredients and product applications.
• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the sales team in growing Puratos product sales by providing professional technical expertise, customer training, product demonstrations, and innovative bakery solutions.

Key responsibilities

Conduct professional product demonstrations highlighting the benefits of Puratos innovations and technologies.

Visit artisan, retail, and industrial bakery customers to support business development projects.

Provide technical consultation, troubleshooting, and implementation support to customers.

Train customer employees on product applications and bakery solutions.

Support sales activities through technical expertise and customer engagement.

Develop recipes aligned with market trends, customer needs, and Puratos' nutritional philosophy.

Support customer events, workshops, seminars, and product launches.

Create innovative bakery concepts and high-quality product samples.

Collaborate with Marketing and R&D teams to test and implement new products and solutions.

Prepare project reports, recipes, and follow-up documentation.

About you

High School Diploma, Vocational School, or higher qualification in Bakery, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in bakery, patisserie, or food ingredient applications.

Good understanding of bakery processes, ingredients, and product applications.

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.

Strong bakery and product application skills.

Good communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
