Job summary

Sikaag mencari Engineer Teknis yang sangat terampil untuk bergabung dengan tim Channel Distribution. Anda akan memberikan dukungan teknis di lapangan, pelatihan produk, dan memperkenalkan Sistem serta Produk Sika kepada kontraktor dan distributor di seluruh Indonesia.

Posisi ini membutuhkan latar belakang teknik sipil, kemampuan komunikasi yang baik dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris, serta kesediaan untuk bepergian secara luas sesuai kebutuhan proyek.

Qualifications

• Gelar Sarjana (S1) Teknik Sipil.
• Minimal 3 tahun pengalaman di industri bahan konstruksi atau konstruksi umum.
• Pengetahuan teknis kuat mengenai bahan konstruksi dan metode aplikasi.

Responsibilities

• Dukungan teknis lapangan untuk pelanggan dan distributor secara langsung.
• Menjalankan pelatihan produk dan memperkenalkan Sika Systems dan Produk secara menyeluruh.
• Melakukan pengujian produk secara berkala, internal maupun perbandingan dengan produk pesaing.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and mobile Technical Engineer to join our Channel Distribution team. You will play a critical role in driving our business expansion, specifically providing expert technical support for the Vertical Market (VM) Residential segment and Sika Pro Centers across Indonesia. If you have a strong civil engineering background, a passion for product training, and love working directly in the field with contractors and distributors, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):

• Customer & Field Support: Support customers and distributors by providing hands-on, on-site technical support, product training, and comprehensive introductions to Sika Systems and Products.
• Segment Expansion: Execute product mock-ups, conduct applicator/contractor training, and create QC Modules specifically targeting the Vertical Market (VM) Residential segment and Sika Pro Centers.
• Product Testing: Conduct rigorous product testing (both internal product development and external competitor comparisons) on a regular basis.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement targeted improvement plans to address identified operational gaps, ensuring the absolute highest quality of technical support delivery.
• Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and increased productivity in the delivery of technical solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deeply analyze customer feedback, track performance, and resolve recurring technical issues or challenges in the field.

Candidate Requirements (Qualifications):

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) majoring in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven working experience in a similar role within the construction chemicals or general construction industries.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of construction materials and application methods.
• Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to converse effectively in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer objections professionally.
• Mobility: Highly mobile and strictly willing to travel across Indonesia as required by business and project needs
