Job summary

PT Petour Petfood Indonesia is seeking a Veterinarian/Technical Advisor to bridge science and practice, representing the brand with veterinarians, pet communities, and owners.

You will deliver technical talks, training, and live events, sharing evidence-based guidance on feline and canine nutrition, feeding guidelines, and product information. The role requires 1–2 years of clinical experience and willingness to travel for regional and national events.

Qualifications

• DVM with active STRV registration.
• 1–2 years of veterinary or technical sales experience in pet health.
• Strong knowledge of small animal nutrition and preventive care.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Willingness to travel for regional/national events.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary corporate veterinary representative across public, commercial, and professional platforms.
• Deliver technical talks, product training, and educational sessions to teams, partners, and pet owners.
• Lead technical activations and educational booths at events.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and communicative Veterinarian / Technical Advisor to join our team at PT Petour Petfood Indonesia. In this role, you will act as the key scientific bridge between our products, veterinary professionals, pet communities, and pet owners. You will champion pet health and nutrition by providing expert technical consultation, leading educational initiatives, and representing our brand at local and national pet events.

What You'll Be Doing

• Brand & Scientific Ambassadorship: Act as the primary corporate veterinary representative and subject matter expert for PT Petour Petfood Indonesia across public, commercial, and professional platforms.
• Education & Product Knowledge: Deliver engaging technical presentations, product training, and scientific talk shows to internal teams (Sales/Marketing), veterinary partners, pet shops, and pet parents.
• Events & Community Engagement: Lead technical activations, vet consultations, and educational booths at local and national pet exhibitions, expos, and community gatherings.
• Technical Consultation & Support: Provide scientifically grounded advice on pet nutrition, ingredient efficacy, and feeding guidelines to address consumer and partner inquiries.
• Internal Advisory & Regulatory Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Regulatory teams to ensure all communication, claims, and product materials are scientifically accurate and compliant with veterinary standards.
• Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Relations: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with veterinary associations, pet clinics, and key stakeholders in the pet care ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / Dokter Hewan - drh.) with an active professional registration/STRV.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, clinical advisor, or technical sales/support specialist within the pet food, animal health, or pharmaceuticals industry.
• Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of small animal nutrition, preventive care, and dietary management for felines and canines.
• Communication & Public Speaking: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills with confidence in hosting talk shows, IG lives, or large-audience seminars.
• Mindset: Proactive, collaborative, adaptable to dynamic event environments, and passionate about educating pet parents on pet wellness.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel for regional/national events and exhibitions when required.
