Job summary

PT Sisindokom Lintasbuana, a leading IT and Networking solutions provider with over 30 years of experience in Indonesia, seeks an experienced Network Engineer. The role involves maintaining wired and wireless networks, managing firewall rules and VPN access, and troubleshooting complex IT issues on-site in Jakarta Timur.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document changes, and contribute to SOP development and IT project planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering or network administration.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Technician, or similar on-site technical role
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless networks, servers, and OS
• Proficient in configuring Windows & Linux systems and network protocols/services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team
• Able to start early morning shifts with strong punctuality
• Responsive to on-site requests or emergencies

Responsibilities

• Maintain wired, wireless, and DC network infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime
• Manage firewall rules, VPN access, and secure network connections
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system bottlenecks
• Develop and maintain SOPs for system maintenance and monitoring
• Provide technical training to support staff on IT systems usage
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network management
• Participate in planning and implementation of IT projects
• Monitor network performance and resolve latency, bandwidth, and connectivity issues
• Configure and administer Windows & Linux systems, plus various network protocols/services
• Perform routine network health checks and maintenance
• Document network topology, configurations, and changes
