Job summary

PT GFT Indonesia Investment seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily injection molding operations, ensuring targets, quality, and on-time delivery. You will supervise operators, assign tasks, and monitor machines while coordinating with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Warehouse to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in engineering, 3–5 years in injection molding, and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in injection molding production, preferably in the toys manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Good understanding of injection molding processes, plastic materials, mold structures, machine parameters, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with production planning, quality control, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Good command of English or Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage production operators: assignments, attendance, discipline, and performance.
• Identify and resolve production issues related to breakdowns, defects, shortages, or quality.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QC, Warehouse, and other departments to support production.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, safety regulations, and production standards.
• Prepare daily production reports: output, rejections, downtime, and KPIs.

Job description

Monitor injection molding machines, molds, materials, and production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications in accordance with company requirements and customer expectations.

Manage and supervise production operators, including work assignments, attendance, discipline, and performance evaluation.

Identify and resolve production issues related to machine breakdowns, mold defects, material shortages, and product quality.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and other departments to support production activities.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, 5S, safety regulations, and production standards.

Prepare daily production reports, including output, rejection rate, machine downtime, and other production performance indicators.
