Job summary

PT. IMTEC MOLD INDONESIA is seeking a proactive Production Manager to lead and manage all Plastic Injection Molding production activities, ensuring targets are met and SQCDP standards are followed.

The role includes developing production strategies, coordinating machine capacity, manpower, and materials to satisfy customer requirements. You will oversee PPIC, Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Exim functions, drive continuous improvement, and lead root cause analysis to resolve production

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 education in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years in production/manufacturing with Production Manager and PPIC Supervisor experience.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Molding essential.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of OEE, productivity, downtime, cycle time and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage large production teams.
• Ability to work with tight targets and focus on SQCDP.

• Control export-import processes for procurement.
• Ensure processes comply with SQCDP standards.
• Monitor targets, machine efficiency, manpower, cycle time and material usage.
• Ensure product quality meets customer standards and specifications.
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, reject rate, productivity and OEE.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Coordinate PPIC, Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing and Exim functions.
• Optimize machine, manpower, material and production resource utilization.

Develop production strategies and control execution based on targets, machine capacity, manpower, materials, and customer requirements. Ensure production processes comply with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Plastic Injection Molding production activities to ensure production targets are achieved
• Develop and control production plan execution based on targets, machine capacity, manpower, material, and customer needs
• Control export-import processes for procurement
• Ensure production processes comply with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) standards
• Monitor production target achievement, machine efficiency, manpower, cycle time, and material usage
• Ensure product quality meets customer standards and specifications
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, reject rate, productivity, and OEE
• Identify production issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes
• Control PPIC, Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Exim functions
• Optimize machine, manpower, material, and production resource utilization

About you

• Minimum S1 education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5-8 years experience in production/manufacturing, with experience as Production Manager and PPIC Supervisor
• Experience in Plastic Injection Molding industry is essential
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written
• Understanding of Plastic Injection Molding processes including machine setting, molding process, cycle time, BOM, injection parameters, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of OEE, productivity, efficiency, downtime, reject rate, and continuous improvement concepts
• Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis capabilities including 5 Why, Fishbone, and related methods
• Leadership capability and experience managing large production teams
• Ability to work with tight targets and strong orientation toward Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity
• Strong communication, coordination, analysis, and decision-making capabilities
