Job summary

PT Suntech Plastics Industries Batam is seeking a Production Manager/Assistant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Batam facility. You will develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet objectives while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will supervise production staff, hire and train when needed, maintain SOPs, enforce policies, and drive continuous improvements. Experience in injection molding is preferred, along with strong English, Mandarin and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Industrial/Mechanical/Mechatronic or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in injection molding.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Indonesian.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet objectives.
• Monitor production processes for safety and efficiency; identify improvements.
• Supervise production staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain and enforce SOPs and company policies.
• Oversee equipment updates and follow up on recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine equipment as needed.

Job description

Developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production objectives

Monitoring production processes to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently, and identifying areas for improvement

Overseeing operations of the production facility and directly supervising production staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance

Maintaining SOPs, and ensuring SOPs are in place and followed

Enforcing established policies and systems, updating equipment, and following-up on recommendations

Trouble shooting and technical adjustment on machine equipment

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent

Candidate should have 10 experiences working in Manufacturing industry (Factory) especially Injection

Required language(s): English, Mandarin And Indonesia

Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
