The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and 3–8 years’ oil and gas experience with major contractors or consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant desirable.
• Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or member of a professional engineering society desirable.
• Eager to learn.
• Working knowledge of English, both oral and written.
• HSE, TQM and cost-conscious.
• Flexibility to reassign to other departments, sites, and projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on complex tasks.
• Apply knowledge to complete varied assignments within budgets and deadlines.
• Prepare clear and accurate design calculations, analyses, reports, and procedures.
• Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Communicate information clearly in straightforward engineering activities.
• Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs.
• Perform computer analyses of structures with guidance from senior engineers.
• Prepare design calculations as required and review drafting.
• Assist in preparation of specifications with guidance from colleagues.
• Review vendor data and assist in bid evaluations.
