Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• 0–3 years of oil and gas industry experience.
• EIT registration or membership in a professional engineering society is preferred.
• Must be willing to learn and adapt.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Familiar with codes and standards applicable to the role.
• Demonstrates flexibility and effective hand-over when reassignment occurs.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic tasks.
• Complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring.
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations, analyses, reports and procedures.
• Organize own work to meet deadlines set by others.
• Clearly communicate information, ask questions and check for understanding.
• Understand project scope, specifications, schedule and inter-discipline requirements.
• Perform computer analyses of structures with guidance from Senior and PPL engineers.
• Assist in drafting checks and preparation of subcontract documents.
• Review vendor data with guidance from colleagues.
