Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Structural Drafting or 7 years in EPCI with supervision.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla and 2D drafting with AutoCAD/MicroStation.
• Knowledge of API, AISC, ACI and ASCE structural standards.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and project requirements accurately.
• Leadership and collaboration skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of structural drafters to ensure timely fabrication projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specs, and client requirements and guide drafting.
• Collaborate with engineering, PMs, and stakeholders to align drafting with objectives.
• Perform quality checks to verify codes, standards, and completeness.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop skills and productivity.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Create and modify 3D models, shop drawings, and BOM using CAD tools.
• Support procurement and construction with documentation and as-builts.
• Maintain master drawing set and filing; report and resolve issues.
