Job summary

McDermott International in Batam, Indonesia, invites a Senior Hook Up & Commissioning Engineer to apply. You will lead hook-up and commissioning activities, develop detailed plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on-time project delivery across onshore and offshore facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 7 years of EPC/EPCI experience in oil and gas or offshore contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in hook-up and commissioning within EPC/EPCI/oil & gas/offshore.
• Knowledge of API/ISO standards and safety regulations.
• Experience with planning, scheduling and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee hook-up and commissioning activities in line with project specs and safety regs.
• Develop and implement detailed hook-up plans and commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Conduct pre-commissioning, testing, inspections and functional checks.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and ensure timely delivery within budget.
