Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
• Knowledge of Indonesian (SNI) and international building codes.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Bali on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our engineering department, where you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and delivery of structural engineering projects. You will contribute to the planning and execution of projects ranging from commercial buildings to infrastructure developments, ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and client specifications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects whilst developing your expertise in structural engineering within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for various building types and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologies
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for construction teams
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions
• Perform site inspections and assess structural integrity of existing buildings and structures
• Review and approve construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase, addressing design queries and resolving on-site structural challenges
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, including Indonesian building standards
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and project teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and engineering practices
• Participate in project meetings and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in structural engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes and design standards, particularly Indonesian standards (SNI) and international codes
• Solid understanding of structural principles, including concrete, steel, and timber design
• Excellent technical drawing and CAD skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent qualification is advantageous
• Experience with building information modelling (BIM) tools is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
