PT Langkah Utama Infrastruktur in South Jakarta is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design and analyze structural solutions for major infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and code compliance while collaborating with architects and project managers.

The requirements include a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, at least three years of design and analysis experience, and proficiency with STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international construction standards.
• Excellent understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and construction methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Conduct structural analysis and design for civil infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations and technical documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and construction teams on-site.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant Indonesian building codes, standards, and regulations.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in South Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering projects. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and safety of our projects whilst contributing to innovation and continuous improvement in our engineering practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure developments and make a meaningful impact on Indonesia's built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for civil infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologies


• Prepare detailed structural calculations and technical documentation for projects


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure project objectives are met


• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and construction teams on-site


• Ensure all projects comply with relevant Indonesian building codes, standards, and regulations


• Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with industry advancements and best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution


• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis


• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar programmes


• Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international construction standards


• Excellent understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and construction methodologies


• Proven ability to ensure accurate structural drawings and technical documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex structural challenges


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams


• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work


• Willingness to conduct site visits and inspections as required


• Knowledge of sustainable and resilient design practices is preferred
