Job summary

Suarga Sustainable Boutique Resort in Bali seeks a highly capable structural engineer to perform detailed calculations, develop designs, and support on-site project execution. Candidates from Indonesia and abroad are welcome to relocate to Bali immediately after appointment.

The role covers calculations for foundations, heavy concrete slabs, reinforced concrete structures, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with Indonesian standards (SNI).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural and/or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Proven experience in large-scale structural projects.
• Experience with foundations, heavy-duty industrial floors, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Experience delivering projects like resorts, factories, warehouses, or large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, load calculations, soil-bearing capacity, settlement analysis, and reinforcement design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software.
• Knowledge of Indonesian SNI standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate engineering calculations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural engineering calculations for foundations, slabs, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Conduct load calculations, soil-bearing assessments, and settlement analyses.
• Design and verify reinforcement for foundations and industrial floors.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, reports, and calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with SNI and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and geotechnical consultants.
• Provide technical support on site and resolve structural issues.

We are looking for a highly capable engineer who can independently perform detailed engineering calculations, develop structural designs, and support project execution on site.

Candidates from across Indonesia and internationally are welcome to apply, provided they are available to relocate to Bali and commence work immediately after appointment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed structural engineering calculations and design for foundations, heavy-duty concrete slabs, and reinforced concrete structures.

Conduct load calculations, soil-bearing capacity assessments, and settlement analyses.

Design and verify reinforcement for foundations, industrial floors, and other structural elements.

Prepare, review, and verify structural drawings, technical reports, and engineering calculations.

Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and relevant engineering requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, geotechnical consultants, and other engineering disciplines.

Provide technical support during site execution and resolve structural engineering issues as required.

Review construction methods and ensure that structural works comply with approved designs and specifications.

Requirements

Master's degree (S2/MSc/MEng) in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering and/or Geotechnical Engineering.

Proven professional experience in structural engineering, particularly in large-scale structural projects.

Demonstrated experience with foundations, heavy-duty industrial concrete floor slabs, and reinforced concrete structures.

Experience delivering projects such as resorts, large factories, warehouses, industrial halls, or similar large-scale developments.

Strong understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, soil-bearing capacity, settlement analysis, and reinforcement design.

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.

Good knowledge of applicable Indonesian SNI standards and structural engineering practices.

Ability to work independently, solve technical problems, and deliver accurate engineering calculations.

Strong communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.

Willingness to work in Bali and availability to start immediately after appointment.
