PT JAE ERKA STUDIO in Bali seeks a talented Structure Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time role focuses on the design, analysis, and implementation of structural systems across diverse projects in Bali.

You will ensure safety, durability, and code compliance while delivering high-quality technical documentation. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/SAFE, and familiarity with BIM using Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional structural design/analysis experience.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE or similar.
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian building codes and construction practices.
• Experience with BIM in Revit is desirable.
• Excellent communication in English; Indonesian is a plus.

About the role

PT JAE ERKA STUDIO is seeking a talented and experienced Structure Engineer to join our growing team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural systems for our diverse range of engineering projects. As a Structure Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and aesthetic excellence whilst adhering to all relevant building codes and regulations. This role is based in Bali and offers the opportunity to work on innovative and challenging structural engineering solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design calculations using advanced engineering software and methodologies
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for construction projects
• Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural conditions and identify potential issues
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure seamless project execution
• Develop and recommend structural solutions that optimise cost-effectiveness without compromising on safety and quality
• Review and verify construction drawings and specifications for compliance with design standards and building regulations
• Conduct material testing and quality assurance inspections throughout the construction process
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and project teams
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and updates to building codes and regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and construction teams on site

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in structural engineering design and analysis
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, or similar applications
• Solid understanding of building codes, design standards, and construction practices relevant to the Indonesian market
• Excellent knowledge of structural materials including concrete, steel, and timber, and their applications
• Experience with project management and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous
• Professional engineering certification or willingness to pursue relevant credentials is preferred
• Experience with building information modelling in Revit (BIM) tools is desirable
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
