Job summary

PT Grandville Food Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationships for raw materials, packaging, and production supplies in our fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You will oversee the end-to-end purchasing process from PR to PO, monitor lead times, and implement cost-saving strategies while upholding ethics and accuracy under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement; manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong understanding of the purchasing process from PR to PO and goods receipt.
• Excellent negotiation on price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ and delivery terms.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating suppliers/vendors for raw materials, packaging, spare parts and production supplies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for price comparisons, PO monitoring and reports.
• ERP or Purchasing Systems experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in quotations, specs, quantities, POs, invoices and documents.
• Ability to work under deadlines with high transaction volumes in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Procurement: manage PR, supplier sourcing, quotation, price comparison, negotiation, to PO.
• Ensure purchases meet specifications, budgets, quantities and timelines.
• Monitor POs from issue to goods receipt.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: source, evaluate, and develop new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, quality and delivery terms.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, delivery, and service level.
• Coordinate with PPIC, Production, Warehouse, Finance to fulfill purchasing requirements.
• Cost Control & Efficiency: monitor market prices and identify savings opportunities.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain PR, quotations, POs and delivery docs; prepare reports.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes for efficiency and scalability.
