Job summary

PT DBG Technology Indonesia seeks an experienced Senior SMT Production Manager to oversee high-density PCBA and automotive electronics manufacturing. You will manage end-to-end SMT operations, ensure automotive quality standards, and drive continuous improvement with FPY and OEE targets.

The role requires 10+ years in electronics production leadership, hands-on expertise in SPI/FUJI/AOI/X-Ray, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering/quality field.
• English proficiency is required as a primary working language.
• Minimum 10+ years of production management experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Minimum 5+ years in a management role within SMT workshops or large plants.
• Deep familiarity with SMT processes and end-to-end testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Production & capacity optimization: plan production schedules to meet orders, safeguard on-time delivery, minimize lead times and optimize OEE.
• Process & technical oversight of SMT operations: SPI, FUJI placement, reflow, AOI, X-Ray, functional testing.
• Automotive & advanced PCBA operations: enforce automotive-grade soldering, conformal coating, dispensing, burn-in testing.
• Shop floor & environmental controls: ensure 5S, ESD, dust/cleanliness per automotive electronics standards.
• Quality & continuous improvement: drive FPY, root-cause analysis with 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why; implement Poka-Yoke and SPC.
• Cost & yield control: manage material loss, reduce labor scrap, optimize headcount and costs.
• Leadership & people management: build cross-functional teams, set KPIs, train operators/engineers.
