Job summary

Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a senior Head of Operations Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation's operations platform. The role will oversee 200 staff and drive scalable systems for growth, governance, HR, procurement, risk, IT and facilities.

The postholder partners with regional teams and reports to the Director, ensuring reliable, compliant operations enabling high-quality research and education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, operations management, finance, law, public administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated senior operations leadership experience across multiple domains.
• Ability to design future-state systems and ensure reliable end-to-end processes.
• Experience redesigning, standardising or scaling processes for growth.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for Operations Services and develop scalable policies and service standards.
• Design and govern a scalable operating model with clear ownership and controls.
• Oversee governance of the Yayasan, contracts, and compliance with Indonesian law.
• Lead HR, procurement, IT, risk, and facilities to support growth and efficiency.
• Build operational KPIs and use data to drive improvements.
• Lead, coach and develop Operations Services staff and manage budgets.
