Job summary

Flex in Batam, Indonesia is seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Manager to lead the planning, development, and maintenance of engineering processes. You will direct the engineering function, manage budgets and costs, collaborate with executives and customers, and drive strategies to meet product requirements across new and existing lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• A Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience including broad-based management and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes within the engineering function.
• Manage and oversee methods, processes and operations for both new and existing products.
• Ensure effective use of materials, equipment and resources to produce cost-effective, quality products and customer solutions.
• Interact with executives, customers and outside regulatory agencies.
• Drive engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services.
