Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Director, Operations Engineering to lead day-to-day operations and optimize core functions for operational excellence. The role reports to the General Manager and focuses on delivering production, delivery, and cost targets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's/MBA preferred) and at least 8 years of management experience in relevant industries, with a track record of managing staff, P&L, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of management experience in relevant industries.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee production and delivery in full, on time, and in specifications required by customers, at competitive cost.
• Define operational financial goals.
• Demonstrated experience in managing staff and P&L.
• Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOIs.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Direct and control activities across purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, testing, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
