Job summary

Flex in Batam, Indonesia is seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Manager to lead the planning, development, and maintenance of engineering processes. You will direct the engineering function, manage budgets and costs, collaborate with executives and customers, and drive strategies to meet product requirements across new and existing lines.

This role expects a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of engineering management experience; a Master’s or MBA is preferred to advance our growing

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience including broad-based management and supervision.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Engineering Manager located in Batam, Indonesia.

Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to the engineering function. Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods, processes and operations for both new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and resources in producing cost-effective, quality products and customer solutions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Directs the activities of engineers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and outside regulatory agencies.
• Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services.
• Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
