Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee multiple production lines in a high-technology facility located in Batam, Indonesia. You will lead engineers and operators, manage performance metrics, and drive improvements to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree related to production/manufacturing and about six years of operations experience, with strong people and process management skills and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in production/manufacturing.
• 6 years of operations experience.
• Experience in managing teams and coaching staff.
• Familiarity with standard office tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Manage production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.
• Lead a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets.
• Review plant performance and identify conditions affecting efficiency and quality; advise on improvements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coach operators to improve capability.
• Develop proposals for plant improvements with engineers.
• Provide technical/operational guidance to project teams.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in cost-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety and maintain compliant manufacturing practices.
