Job summary

PZ Cussons Indonesia is seeking a Senior Manager Insights & Validation to embed consumer and shopper insights across the business, translating data into actions that drive growth throughout the path to purchase. You will collaborate with Marketing, Commercial and R&D to influence priorities and decisions in Indonesia and Asia.

The role requires leadership in cross-functional teams, a track record in FMCG, and the ability to turn complex data into clear storytelling.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Track record of partnering with Marketing, R&D and Category Management teams to deliver product and communication innovation.
• Experience supporting both market-leading and challenger brands.
• Strong change management capability and the ability to thrive in periods of transition.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to align goals across functions.
• Strong commercial curiosity and an objective mindset, using data to challenge assumptions and validate business thinking.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Confidence presenting insights in both one-to-one and group settings.
• Experience using mixed research methodologies to generate meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of emerging technology platforms and their practical application within a business environment.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving data and insight gaps.

Responsibilities

• Embed consumer and shopper insights across the business to influence decisions throughout the path to purchase.
• Work with Marketing, Commercial and R&D to translate data into actions that drive growth.
• Shape priorities and innovation programs across Indonesia and Asia.
• Partner management delivering projects through external agencies while maximizing value for money by challenging orthodoxies and existing approaches.
• Creating long-term plans with vendors to drive efficiency and high ROI.
• Creating guardrails for self-serve models alongside partners to ensure consistent methodologies.
• Influencing business approach by shaping marketing and R&D programmes through insight-led activities.
• Leading methodology approaches, consistency and the evolution of ways of working.
• Leadership: leading effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Acting as the trusted adviser for the Asia team on what insight means and how it can shape business approach.
