Job summary

PT Sinar Baru Logistik in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to identify and secure new customers in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

You will maintain relationships, prepare quotations, update activities in the system, and drive revenue through upselling and regular reporting. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sales experience in freight forwarding and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any major.
• At least 2 years of experience in Sales within the freight forwarding industry.
• Proficient in English (both oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in the logistics and freight forwarding industry to increase company revenue and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat orders.
• Prepare and provide quotations based on customers’ requests and requirements.
• Record and update daily prospecting activities in system.
• Provide customers with regular updates regarding their orders.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services and generate new orders from existing customers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Follow up and collect payments from customers according to the agreed Terms of Payment (TOP).
