Job summary

Datacenter People is partnering with a leading German data center operator to deliver colocation services across secure facilities in Europe.

The role involves defining bid workstreams, resourcing the Bid Team, managing tasks, and creating a comprehensive Bid Plan to meet milestones. You will ensure governance, liaise with senior leaders, and build strong customer rapport while delivering customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Significant experience in data center Bid Management, 5 years' +.
• Experience within both Public Sector and Corporate bids – hyper-scale data centre bids advantageous.
• Strong experience in project management of complex bids, not just document management.
• Skills to support management of all workstream disciplines.
• Comfortable liaising with customers, SMEs and Senior Leaders.
• Ability to work in evolving or ambitious environments.
• Data-informed decision-making and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Defining the workstreams required to support bid success.
• Resourcing the Bid Team required to manage those workstreams.
• Setting, allocating and managing the tasks required.
• Creating, maintaining and managing a solid Bid Plan to meet milestones.
• Ensuring Governance requirements are planned for and met.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Creating rapport and strong relationship with the customer.
• Ensuring customer process is understood and all requirements and deliverables are planned for and delivered.
• Negotiating with the customer – timelines and deliverables.
