Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Finance/Management Accounting specialist to lead the store Business Plan, coordinate financial planning, and identify commercial opportunities. The role requires strong analytical and numerical skills and accountability for P&L performance.

You will drive standardized reporting, manage investments with ROI focus, and lead teams within the BNO function while upholding risk and compliance across store operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Good overview of IKEA operations.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• More than 5 years of experience in management accounting and commercial/financial reporting with proven strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store Business Plan process with the store manager and management team, using local market data to understand customers.
• Drive and coordinate the financial business planning process ensuring alignment with store priorities.
• Identify commercial opportunities and promote business case thinking when evaluating actions.
• Understand the Profit & Loss for the store and steer actions to optimize the P&L, with forecasting and scenario planning as needed.
• Develop and implement reporting to improve performance and enable informed business decisions.
• Ensure investments are analyzed with ROI considerations across projects.
• Lead and develop leaders and teams within the BNO function; identify talents and succession plans.
• Provide a safe, compliant environment following risk and accounting guidelines.
